Do you know a young woman of color who cannot dare dream of going to college? Give her a boost of love, resources and support. Sometimes, all she needs is someone to believe in her to spark her lifelong belief in herself.
How did this project come about? A Facebook friend made a post about a young woman he knows at the YMCA where he mentors young people. She could not dream of going to college for lack of money and lack of encouragement. In response to a simple Facebook plea, we created, purchased, assembled and shipped her the first “College Inspiration Kit: Dream & Go, Girl!”
What does the kit include?
